Today as a group we decided to dedicate this day to finishing up any changes we may have made as a group. We are trying to edit our ad break on premier pro , making the finalised advert suitable for the break in between our chat show and ensure our IDENT has been uploaded to our bloggers and shared through Google drive to each one of my group members for them to have it as evidence as well.

We are also updating our blogs and correcting any mistakes, or fill in any missing evidence that we may not have. Constantly updating each other on our blogs as well as amongst ourselves giving a full detailed account on any changes we make as an group.

This was a read through of our script for we are london, the reason for I and my group reading it aloud was to make sure it sounded how we wanted it, and also  ensure any changes that need to be made we will all agree as a group

Today in our group discussion we made a plan on who will we use for our Ident we decided who's Ident we will use for our talk show we are London. We came to the conclusion to use Veeras Ident, due to the fact that the background image she used it fitted our idea of talk show. She used the background of the big Ben as our title is called we are London, the title and the image correlate perfectly

We have decided to go with Veeras Ident for the opening of our show. We made sure that the Ident each one of us in our groups had it so we could use it for our blogs.

We also carried on editing our shooting script, taking out any thing that we didn't want as a group, and also made sure we knew the different people that will be talking, in order for the conversation to fit our genre. We also ensured our blogs were up to date, as a group ensuring we each had the same thing on each of our blogs. We then moved onto uploading the video of our script reading , on our blogs this was art of our evidence, as part of the assignment for evidence.

Me and my group today came together to do a team script reading, pretending to be our host and guest so we can have n idea of how the script will sound like 

We started doing a shooting script today and editing our script making amendments to make sure the script is correctly written 

And everyone in our group is happy with the script and How it is laid out.
We did make a few slight changes to the script in order for the run through of the show to make more sense, an example of this would be when the Host will speak just before and advert break we decided to allow our music performers to be after the break instead of before, leaving the audience something to look forward to as well as the main part of the show.

Primary explanation

From the primary research we see that most of the people that answered were female and most aged 18+. There are arrange of answers for their household income as some people didn’t know it so they guessed but nearly all watch talk shows. From the second part most people said they watch The Tonight Show with Jimmy Falon and The Late Late Show with James Corden, nearly all watch crime shows. With that the people who do watch crime shows said that they watch it sometimes. Most said yes to participating in a talk show and answered that the most important part of a talk show and a crime show are the conversations and storylines.  What we found was important that most people who took part to answer said they watch tv around 9 – 12pm and said they would like the show to be on channel 4 and some with bbc 3.

The location for the multicam production would be a TV Studio.

The reason being is because it is the most appropriate for the type of production we are shooting, having multiple camera setups means having the proper space in order to fit everything but also the lighting equipment as well as having the proper mixing/ editing room is mandatory and any extras such as green screen for that matter.

The theme of our production is to showcase and represent London through the different types of issues being discussed therefore it is essential to have some sort of a London theme going on and the initial idea is to either green screen a London scenery or insert a short clip representing the city.

The image below clearly shows a famous London scenery with Shard in the distance and a few other popular to London places.

This is risk assessment I have completed with the help of my group. As we will behaving a pre recorded clip inside our talk show, we had to go over a pre- recorded risk assessment to enable we do not have any accidents whiles shooting and being aware of how to avoid them.

We are currently finishing dedicating this day to finish off our Task 1 amongst our self. Task 1 in our groups before we proceed to shooting our multi-cam production in the studio. The task 1 was part of our research and case studies, this included each one of us to separately go out and individually collaborate all of our research works together . I conducted risk assessment and production roles, whereas the other members of my group conducted case studies within our desired talk show and other forms of research for our talk show we have picked.
In order for us to proceed to the next stage f our multi-cam production Unit this task was to be finalised an updated to our blogs first before we cold commence with the continuation of out multi-cam set up in the studio.

Today we went to the studio as a class with our I pads to update our blogs and fill in for anything that we may have missing, on them. This had to be done effectively before we could continue with our shooting.
However due to the failing of one camera we are unable to process with the shooting and have to use our ipads to shoot, meaning we would have to download the app that connects the rolling footage to the visual mixer, in order for the multicam production to come together perfectly.
Before we could proceed with our Ipads we had to wait for Danielle to download the app first, and demonstrate how the app would be able to connect with the visual mixer.

Today we are In the TV studio with our Ipads ensuring everything is uploaded and up to date on our blogs, and making sure in my group each and everyone of us have the exact things we need for our task 1research.
However most of our group are absent so we are unable to film today, due to the small amount of numbers within our group so we decided to allow this day to be going through scripts with the remaining people in our group, and double checking that everyone is satisfied with the task they have.

I  and my group gathered together to discuss who will be playing a part in the production of our show. I was assigned the role of writing down what equipments will be needed for the show. And we hjave started doing the task and going to complete them.

First day in the TV studio- this was when the whole class went into the TV studio to  improvise one of our class sates production show.
We went with Abigail Idea Build or break. We split up the rota so each one of got an experience in front of the camera and behind the camera in the control room.

first group meeting concerning our multi camera Tim and Natalie pitched both of their multi-cameras ideas to the group and discusses similarities and differences. we then chose to use Tim ideas as our final idea. for the title "We are London" the concept we agree on was to use the idea of music to tackle crimes in young teenagers. Originally  Tim agreed we should make the duration for the show an hour long. However Danielle mentioned it should only be 20 minutes long approximately.

First day in the studio

Friday 4/11/16

First day in the Tv studio with my group was allowing us to get and idea of how to use the studio and also how to use the equipment. Each member of our class was given different roles to play. These roles included a few people being in the control room, whilst the rest of us acted out a chat show on the spot. This was an experiment we went through to gain insight as to how the set-up of a multi-cam production works.
I ,Lucy, Abigail and Dianna acted out a Abigails chat show idea "Build or break"  acting out as her broken couple coming to resolve their situations on her show. Whilst we were acting this out the rest of my class were in the control rooms,
and behind the cameras making sure the cameras and lights were running smoothly.

Once we acted out approximately 5 minutes of the show, we then did a swap over , so we were now in the control room, and few other people were behind the cameras shooting another talk show that was created by Keely, as all of us could not fit in the control room to be a visual mixer, we split the role so some of us would act for Keely's game whereas the rest would be in the visual mixer. Then we would swap again.

Intro to my own programme

This is a presentation clearly expressing my idea of how my own programme will run. The name of my own programme will be called 'Gossip central' . A studio programme which contains live audience, and two young adults as the host will be one male and one female.Not only will my show be mainly about gossiping about the lives of celebrities or any general issues. But it will also be a platform for upcoming artists, games, hot topics that are trending, and the interaction with the audience. This powerpoint will enable my audience to see how my studio programme will benefit my viewers as well as, keep them intrigued to watch.
